2002 Porsche GT2
2002 Porsche GT2 engine is based on the race-proven GT1 unit used in the historic 50th anniversary one-two at Le Mans. The water-cooled, twin-turbo flat six develops 340 kW (462 bhp) from a
displacement of 3,600 cm3, with maximum torque of 620 Nm available between 3,500 and 4,500 rpm. In addition to optimised cylinder charging, the new 911 GT2 engine offers outstanding balance and refinement. Another
key engine feature is VarioCam Plus, the latest evolution of the Porsche variable valve control system, which now also includes variable valve lift on the inlet side.
