Well, the answer is that a Ferrari engine, the V12 with 6.3 litres and 740 hp from the F12berlinetta, was necessary to dethrone the 8-cylinder sister engine, which came in second in the “Best Performance Engine” and “Over 4 litre” categories, leaving the fierce competition behind.
