KELLY RIPA AND MICHAEL STRAHAN SHOWCASE SOME OF THE HOTTEST WHEELS IN TOWN

It’s that time of year again, when the eyes of the automotive world focus on the Big Apple and the New York International Auto Show.

It also marks the return of “Auto Show Week” on “LIVE with Kelly and Michael,” the popular morning talk show’s annual homage to the hottest new vehicles on the market.

Airing April 14-18, 2014, this year’s line-up again will feature the latest and greatest from the automotive industry, with a different genre of vehicle spotlighted each day.

Several models will be making their world, North American, or television debuts on “LIVE with Kelly and Michael.”

MONDAY, APRIL 14
Kicking off the week will be four “Versatility Vehicles,” including the world debuts of the all-new Nissan Murano and the all-new Kia Sedona.  Also featured will be the 2015 Jeep Renegade, making its American debut, and the Ford Transit Connect Wagon, making its TV debut.

TUESDAY, APRIL 15
“Green Cars” will be the focus on Tuesday, which will mark the world debut of the all-new Chevrolet Cruze.  “LIVE’s” viewers also will have the chance to check out the New York debuts of the BMW i8 and the Toyota iRoad.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16
Wednesday will be all about “Sporty Cars,” and passionate American Alfa Romeo fans will thrill at the sight of one of the top highlights of “Auto Show Week” on “LIVE”:  the North American debut of the Alfa Romeo 4C, marking the brand’s return to the United States.  Also on Wednesday, the BMW M4 Convertible will have its world premiere, the Subaru WRX STI will make its television debut and the Porsche Macan S will make its New York debut.

THURSDAY, APRIL 17
The Toyota Camry is the top-selling car in the U.S., and the latest edition will make its world TV debut Thursday on “LIVE.”  Also on Thursday will be the world debuts of the all-new Acura TLX and the Hyundai Sonata, plus the North American debut of the 2015 Chrysler 200.

FRIDAY, APRIL 18
Kelly and Michael will wrap up the week with three exciting anniversary editions, toplined by the national TV debut of the iconic 50th anniversary Ford Mustang.  Two additional special models will make their world debuts on the show: Dodge is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a special edition Dodge Challenger, and the sporty Mazda MX-5 Miata commemorates the model’s 25th anniversary.

The Auto Show runs from April 18 – 27, 2014 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Press Preview days are April 16 & 17.
