FERRARI 70TH ANNIVERSARY AT THE GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED

Goodwood, 30 June 2017 – Ferrari is celebrating its 70th Anniversary at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with an incredible and diverse display of current and historic Ferrari road and race cars, including the LaFerrari Aperta which is the star car of the company’s anniversary events. Some of the Ferrari cars being showcased this weekend include a Ferrari 333SP, driven by Emmanuele Pirro, a Ferrari 166 Dino F2, driven by Derek Bell, and a Ferrari 458 GT2, driven by Nicolas Minassian.

Also driving for Ferrari this weekend are a number of official Ferrari drivers in a range of single seater and sports cars :

  • Marc Gene, Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver – Ferrari F60
  • Olivier Beretta, Ferrari GT driver – Ferrari F1-90
  • Davide Rigon, Ferrari GT driver – Ferrari F2007
  • Sam Bird, Ferrari GT driver – Ferrari FXX
  • James Calado, Ferrari GT driver – FXX K
  • Rene Arnoux, former Scuderia Ferrari driver – 599XX
  • Alessandro Pier Guidi, Ferrari GT driver – 488 GTE
  • Raffaele de Simone, Ferrari test driver – LaFerrari Aperta

The Ferrari brand is also showcased in the Cartier Style et Luxe Concours with a class dedicated to the iconic Ferrari 250 class of car, with a number of outstanding and rare 250s, including :

  • Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Tour De France

Ferrari also has a full display of the current product range in the Michelin Supercar Paddock, with a California T Handling Speciale, 488 GTB, 488 Spider, GTC4Lusso (V12) and a LaFerrari Aperta participating in the Supercar Run twice a day during the event. Ferrari fans will also be able to see the entire range of historic sports and road cars on a special display in front of Goodwood House on Friday and Saturday between 12.55-13.45 in a unique celebration of Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary.
