WORLDWIDE DEMAND FOR THE NEW GENERATION CAYMAN

Atlanta. In the month of July, 13,700 Porsche customers around the world took delivery of their new cars – an increase of 11 percent from last July. Of these, 2,285 911 Carrera Cabriolet and Boxster customers enjoyed the summer weather in their new convertibles. From January to July of this year, Porsche has delivered approximately 95,000 cars. This is a 17 percent increase from the same period last year.

“With the July 2013 delivery results, we have a good start for the second half of the year,” said Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. “We are also continuing our product offensive. Customers and fans of our brand can be excited for the world premieres in the end of 2013.”

In July 2013, the strong impact of American customers was felt yet again: with 3,820 deliveries, America is the sports-car-manufacturer’s largest single market, showing an increase of 36 percent from last July. Worldwide the Cayenne was the most successful model: 7,086 of the SUVs were delivered in July 2013. The newest generation of the Cayman also showed a clear increase: exactly 1,378 mid-engine sport coupes were delivered.
