Charles Jacob, Head of Sales at RDMO-MIDUAL, France.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the turn-out this year which has exceeded all previous years and the first inaugural Salon Privé Sale went superbly well.  It takes all year to plan this event and we can’t wait to set the wheels in motion for our 10 year celebration in 2015! The quality of entrants to the Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance has been unbelievable. It seems impossible for it to improve year-on-year, but it does and it’s a good job because our judging panel, selected from the world’s most renowned automotive experts and commentators, is also becoming more scrutinising each year. Salon Privé is now a major player on the international automotive scene with more visitors attending from overseas this year than ever before.

Among various fund-raising efforts for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity at Salon Privé this year and getting the auction off to a fantastic start was a limited edition 2013 Patek Philippe 5960P-016 Gentleman’s Annual Calendar Chronograph watch donated by Boodles.”
