  • NFIB members and their employees also eligible for On The Job® incentives through Chrysler Commercial Vehicles

June 25, 2014 , Auburn Hills, Mich. – Chrysler Group LLC has formed a partnership with the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), a nonprofit association of 350,000 small and independent business owners across the nation.

Through this partnership, NFIB member business owners and their employees, and their immediate family members at the same residence, may receive a $500 cash allowance toward the purchase or lease of select 2014 Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram Truck, and FIAT brand vehicles. The $500 discount is off the final negotiated price of the vehicle and in most cases can be combined with other offers to increase savings.

In addition, NFIB member business owners and their employees also may qualify for On The Job® program allowances, including up to $1,000 to add new equipment, or a company logo or graphic to their work vehicle.

“NFIB and Chrysler Group equal a great combination,” said Mike Ring, Head of Small Business Sales and Operations, Chrysler Group LLC. “NFIB membership is made up of a wide-range of small business industries, and Chrysler Group has the diverse product line-up and unique for-business programs and allowances to address their needs. This partnership will help NFIB members offset the cost of their membership while providing valuable allowances that contribute to their businesses’ profitability.”

The “On the Job” program allowance, valued at up to $1,000, enables the business owner or employee purchaser/leasee to choose from one of four offers:

  • Up to a $1,000 vehicle graphic allowance for car/truck
  • Up to $1,000 equipment/upfit allowance for add-ons like a ladder rack or tool box
  • A Bosch tool kit such as table saws and drills
  • Two years (up to 8) free charge oil changes

The select Chrysler Group and FIAT brand vehicles include:

“More than 80 percent of small businesses use at least one vehicle, and the cost of buying, operating, equipping and maintaining these vehicles is a major expense for owners,” said Mark Garzone, NFIB Senior Vice President of Marketing. “By offering our members’ savings on equipment and maintenance – and helping them into more fuel-efficient vehicles – NFIB and Chrysler Group are helping lower the cost of ownership and making it feasible for small businesses to make this investment.”

NFIB research shows that small businesses use an estimated 26-27 million vehicles, and that trucks are the most frequent type of vehicle used. Just over half (52 percent) of small businesses use an average of 4.2 trucks per firm, the NFIB said. Forty-four (44) percent use cars and 41 percent use SUVs.
