Hyundai Motor America, headquartered in Fountain Valley, Calif., is a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Co. of Korea. Hyundai vehicles are distributed throughout the United States by Hyundai Motor America and are sold and serviced through more than 830 dealerships nationwide. All Hyundai vehicles sold in the U.S. are covered by the Hyundai Assurance program, which includes the 5-year/60,000-mile fully transferable new vehicle limited warranty, Hyundai’s 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty and five years of complimentary Roadside Assistance. Hyundai Blue Link Connected Care provides owners of Hyundai models equipped with the Blue Link telematics system with proactive safety and car care services complimentary for one year with enrollment. These services include Automatic Collision Notification, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Diagnostic Alert, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and In-Vehicle Service Scheduling.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, LLC

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA). A subsidiary of Korea's Hyundai Motor, HMMA's plant began construction in 2002. The $1 billion facility turned out its first car, the Sonata sedan, in mid 2005. The factory includes a stamping facility, paint shop, vehicle assembly shop, and a two-mile testing track. At full capacity HMMA will produce about 300,000 vehicles per year. Cars and SUVs built by HMMA are distributed throughout the US by sister company Hyundai Motor America, and they are sold and serviced by more than 650 US Hyundai dealerships.

The Hyundai Kia Automotive Group is South Korea's largest automobile manufacturer, the second largest automaker in Asia after Toyota and the world's fifth largest automaker after Toyota, GM, Volkswagen and Ford as of the end of 2009. In 2008, Hyundai ranked the eighth largest auto maker, without including Kia. It was formed through the purchase of 51% (currently 34.58%) of South Korea's second-largest car company, Kia Motors, by Hyundai Motor Company in 1998.

The Hyundai Kia Automotive Group also refers to the group of affiliated companies interconnected by complex shareholding arrangements, with Hyundai Motor Company regarded as the de facto representative of the Group. It is the third largest South Korean Chaebol or conglomerate after Samsung Group and LG Group and was previously known as the Hyundai Motor Group.

2007 the Hyundai–Kia Automotive Group has emerged as the world´s fifth largest automaker moving up from sixth place in 2006, according to Automotive News´ 2008 Global Market Data Book published yesterday.

The Group has seen remarkable growth in the four decades since Hyundai Motor Co. was founded.
