Corporate Issues

Due to the "unprecedented rise in oil prices," General Motors (GM) has announced plans to cut four North American truck production facilities and increase its lineup of fuel-efficient vehicles. Company officials say they have also received approval to produce the electric-powered Chevy Volt, and simultaneously are considering revamping or selling their Hummer brand.
