MASERATI DEBUTS NEW 2018 VEHICLES AT MONTRÉAL AUTO SHOW

Maserati Leads Automotive Brands in Canada With More Than 80 Percent Sales Increase in 2017

Montréal, Quebec, 18 January 2018 – Maserati Canada has achieved an all-time sales record as a top sales change leader from 2016 to 2017, with a more than 80 percent increase compared year over year, delivering a total of 1246 units in 2017. It is upon this success that Maserati brings its full 2018 all-wheel- drive (AWD) line-up to the Montréal Auto Show this week, in order to highlight the brand’s Q4 intelligent AWD system. On display at the Quebec event will be the Ghibli sport-sedan, the flagship Quattroporte executive sedan, and the new Levante, the “Maserati of SUVs.”

Audiences will experience the 2018 Ghibli S Q4 sport sedan in a stunning Blu Passione color palette, along with a 2018 Quattroporte S Q4 in Nero Ribelle and luxurious Ermenegildo Zegna silk interior. In addition, a white 2018 Levante S, the top of the line Maserati SUV with 424 horsepower, makes its way to Montréal.

All three distinct model lines on display have received upgrades for 2018. Significant updates to the Ghibli and Levante MY18 include the addition of GranLusso and GranSport trims, previously introduced in the Quattroporte range. With the new Maserati range strategy, customers can now choose one of two distinct trims for the Levante and the Ghibli: GranSport or GranLusso. GranSport was conceived to meet the demands of a sportier expression of the high-end lifestyle, while the sophisticated and luxurious GranLusso cabin combines a choice of Ermenegildo Zegna silk or full premium Italian upholstery and includes upgrades such as Radica open-pore wood trim and a leather steering wheel. The Ghibli on display in Montréal comes fitted with GranSport trim, while the Quattroporte and Levante are both GranLusso.

In addition, new for 2018, the Ghibli and Quattroporte now also feature Adaptive full LED headlights with glare free high-beam, based on Matrix technology for Ghibli, developed in collaboration with Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting, and on L-shape technology for Quattroporte. Both Maserati sedans are fitted with power-upgraded 3.0L V6 engines as well, with the new, performance-enhancing Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC), developed by Bosch in collaboration with Maserati.

Pricing for the 2018 Ghibli starts at CAD $88,500, with the Levante available for a base price of CAD $92,900 and the Quattroporte starting at an MSRP of CAD $127,500, all prices excluding taxes.

There are currently nine Maserati dealerships in Canada, including Maserati Quebec in the city of Montréal.

The Montréal Auto Show, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, will be open to the public from January 19-28 at Palais des congrès de Montréal. Press previews are scheduled for January 18.
