‘Britain’s Greatest Palace’, Blenheim Palace is set once again to host the UK’s most exclusive automotive Garden Party from Thursday 30th August – Saturday 1st September. Now in its 13th consecutive year, this pioneering event, distinguishable by its full-hospitality VIP experience for all, continues to blend the rarest classics with their modern-day counterparts, surrounded by an eclectic mix of luxury brands, all presented in one of the world’s most beautiful automotive settings.

The 2017 edition was hailed a success with more than 7,000 guests attending over the 3 days, a 16% increase over 2016. A world-debut from Italian bespoke manufacturers, ATS Automobili saw their new GT launched in front of an admiring crowd of media & guests and Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Italdesign, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche and Zenvo were just a few of the luxury marques displaying their latest models.

Now entering its 4th year at Blenheim Palace, the Organisers are further delighted to announce the signing of a 10-year agreement with Blenheim Palace. Andrew Bagley, Managing Director Salon Privé said ‘Britain’s Greatest Palace and the UK’s most exclusive automotive event – it is a perfect match! Blenheim Palace is without doubt the UK’s most spectacular Stately Home and my brother and I consider it a great privilege to be able to host Salon Privé here. With a 10 year agreement now signed, we look forward to taking the event to new heights.’

An immediate benefit of the new agreement, and with the permission of His Grace, the Duke of Marlborough, sees the event take a monumental leap up the lawns, on to the cricket pitch and right to the foot of the south Palace steps, incorporating the full splendour of Blenheim Palace and the stunning ornamental gardens within the event. It should be noted that no external event has ever occupied this space at Blenheim Palace before.

For the automotive sector, there is further encouraging news as the Organisers announce a new pricing structure that sees the cost of participation decrease. David Bagley, Salon Privé Sales Director said ‘We recognise the growing number of dealers taking part and supporting the OEMs either individually or as part of a group and wish to make it a more affordable proposition, as well as attracting new and bespoke brands.’

The 3-day format of Chubb Insurance Concours d’EléganceBoodles Ladies’ Day and Concours Masters continues in 2018, with the announcement of the Chubb Concours Classes and Concours Masters feature marque set to follow. With Lobster Luncheon, Pommery Champagne and Afternoon Tea served each day, it will be one of the highly anticipated offerings on the 2018 automotive calendar.
