Following the hugely successful events at Windsor Castle in 2012, St James’s Palace in 2013 and Hampton Court Palace in 2014, this year’s Concours will be held at The Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, with the gracious permission of Her Majesty the Queen.

A standard ticket for the 2015 Concours of Elegance costs £35, which also includes access to the Palace of Holyroodhouse itself. A half-day ticket – which means entry after 13:00 – will cost £25. There are concessions for Senior Citizens – with tickets at £25 – as well as students and under-17s, which both cost £10. Under-fives can enter for free.

With a hugely positive response from some of the world’s most prolific car collectors, the 2015 Concours of Elegance will gather a field of 60 of the world’s rarest and most exotic cars. Highlights parked in the gardens of the Palace of Holyroodhouse include a 1939 Delahaye 135 Figoni et Falaschi Competition Court Torpedo Roadster and a 1911 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost.

As well as the main Concours event, there will also be plenty of other models on display as part of the Club Trophy event. Now in its second year, each of the UK’s most prestigious owners’ clubs is asked to submit their own Concours event winners to be put before a panel of expert judges, who will then crown an overall Concours Trophy winner.

Concours of Elegance 2015 will also be bringing together the legendary Ecurie Ecosse-winning cars. Continuing on the motorsport theme, Sir Jackie Stewart will be showcasing a selection of his most famous Formula One racing cars.

James Brooks-Ward, Concours of Elegance Director, said: “It’s absolutely fantastic that we’ll be able to celebrate Scotland’s incredible motoring heritage as part of our event, and we’re privileged to have the support of motorsport icons like Sir Jackie Stewart. With incredible scenery, a fantastic venue and some of the world’s rarest cars on display, we’re confident it’ll be another event not to be missed.”

From the very beginning Concours of Elegance was designed with charity in mind, and this year the event will be supporting three major charities: Walking with the Wounded, Action on Addiction and Springfield Motor Racing’s Club for Young People.

About the annual Concours of Elegance:

Established in 2012, the inaugural Concours of Elegance was held within the private grounds of Windsor Castle to mark the diamond jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen’s reign.  Organised by Thorough Events, the first Concours of Elegance set a new global benchmark for a classic car concours; winning prestigious awards in the process; unheard of for a ‘start-up’ event in its first year.  The second Concours of Elegance was held in 2013 to equal fanfare and acclaim at the historic Royal Palace of St James in London, with the widely acclaimed third Concours set the stunning grounds of Hampton Court Palace this September.  Only the highest caliber of cars are invited to the Concours of Elegance, event, with the rarest cars in the world, from all over the world, painstakingly selected by the Concours Steering Committee; a respected team of authoritative historic car experts.  A key objective of the annual Concours of Elegance is to raise significant sums for charity.
