The new, developed by BMW in Munich, type BMW 3/20 PS was launched in March 1932. The addition with the abbreviation AM 1 ("execution
Munich") designated car was designed from scratch and had a much more spacious body and a 5 hp higher engine power than the BMW 3/15 PS. In
addition to the sedan, there were another four body variants, the BMW had manufactured by Daimler-Benz in Sindelfingen plant.
