The BMW 3/15 PS DA 2 (DA = "German design") was the first automobile from Eisenach BMW trademark. Like its predecessor, the Dixi 3/15 PS DA 1, it
was based on the British small car Austin Seven, which was built in France, the U.S. and Japan in a modified form. Under BMW directing the car had
undergone numerous improvements, such as four-wheel brakes, a spacious body and a higher quality interior. By 1932, this first BMW was made in six body styles.
